On Saturday 31st Of July I organised and took part in a ‘Sleep out to Help out’ to raise money for two worthy charities. The PWRR benevolent fund (my regiment) and Scotty’s little soldiers, the latter help, mentor and support the children of deceased service personnel through to their early 20s. Over 30 veterans rough slept across the South of England to raise money for these important causes. If you would like to donate please email me through the contact page. Thank you! Blue Van Armed Forces & Veterans Drop-In
Registered Charity No 1193342
Based in Eastbourne but covering the South East we are a small, but growing CIO who support our armed forces veterans and their families and carers. We have a physical drop-In on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of month. Everyone is a volunteer who has served in the forces or close links.
We provide camaraderie and social interaction, an opportunity to talk with fellow veterans who have had same or similar experiences. We facilitate access to physical & mental healthcare, social care, legal and financial professionals and veteran charities such as SSAFA and Combat Stress.
